Glowy summer makeup look

Hey lovelies,

So summer is upon us, I hope you are enjoying it so far. Now I love glowy skin all year round but I know it becomes more popular as the weather gets warmer. So today I am going to be sharing some of my tips, and products I use to achieve a glowy look.

First up, I start with moisturised skin as always. I take my Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation and dot 1 pump across my face. This stuff really goes ย long way! I then grab a pointed foundation brush to gently blend the foundation in. I am steering clear of buffing motions at the moment as my skin is very dry and I don’t want more texture.

For concealer, I take the Collection LastingIMG_0197 Perfection and place this under my eyes. I also take a cream contour from a pallete I purchased from Ebay and contour my cheekbones and nose. The trick is to place the contour shade just above your cheekbones so once you have blended, the colour hasn’t moved to below your cheekbones. I blend both of these products in with my Primark beauty sponges,ย read my review of them here.

IMG_0228Next up I add my Sleek Blush By 3, in CALIFORN.I.A too the apples of my cheeks and blend using the sponges again. And for my cream highlight I use the 17 Metallic cream across my cheekbones and round up to my brow, above my brow, down the nose and the cupid’s bow. This type of product is great for giving the look of dewy skin from within (or like a glazed donut as I like to say).

To finish the look off, I fill in my brows with my Elf Eyebrow Kit, comb them through with a spooly and set in place with some hairspray. I curl my lashes and add the Soap & Glory Thick and Fast Mascara to finish off the look. I keep my lips nice and simple with a bit of tinted lip balm and I’m good to go!
